design concept: the project is the result of the collaboration between the aga-khan awarded architect fabrizio carola and paolo cascone in order to design a new cultural centre in sevaré. therefore the structure design process aims to develop an innovative approach to build dome morphologies. the cluster of diversified domes is generated through a parametric process considering functional and spatial needs achieving environmental performances. such project investigates on possible innovations of vernacular architecture integrating advanced technologies with traditional construction systems and local materials.
