design concept: located in the heart of the renovated porta nuova area of milan, the eco_logic skin project generates a new performatve envelope for the generali properties retail building. the project aims to develop an environmental rehabilitation strategy of the existing building through a material computation process investigating the potential of solar simulations in order to inform the porosity of the titanium skin. the result is diversified texture able to improve the daylight and the thermal performances inside the office spaces, creating biomimetic pattern. the produtcion of each of the panels of the customised skin is developed through a digital fabrication process - design driver: day lighting - material system: titanium
