elena ciancio / digital fabrication expert

she has studied fine arts and architecture in Naples where she has founded the urban fabrication Laboratory with paolo cascone. in the last 5 years elena became one of the most relevant experts in europe on additive manufacturing and 3d printing for architectural components.

federico forestiero / robotic construction

holds a B.Sc. cum laude in architecture from the university of napoli federico II. he is currently finishing his master degree in integrated technology and advance design research (ITECH) at the institute of computational design, stuttgart university. here he specialized in behavioural robotic fabrication, working with an industrial robotic arm for milling, plastic 3d printing and coreless filament winding. He recently finished as robotic expert, the construction of the first carbon fibers pavilion, realised with two 6-axis kuka robots and a flying drone. hhe is proficient with multiple programming languages such as Python, KRL, C
